Competing with AMTC is about more than awards, it’s where students learn how to rise to a challenge, perform with confidence under pressure, and take pride in disciplined, consistent growth. Through this experience, performers develop resilience, accountability, and the ability to push beyond their comfort zone; skills that extend far beyond the stage.

On the competition stage, students train and perform in professionally choreographed jazz, tap, musical theatre, contemporary, and vocal pieces, receiving valuable feedback from industry professionals.
